Terms of Service

1) Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of corebackend.dev (the “Site”), operated by CoreBackend LLC, a California member-managed limited liability company. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Site on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.
2) Who We Are & Our Services
CoreBackend provides B2B backend engineering, DevOps, and related consulting services (“Services”). Information on the Site is for general marketing and informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer. Any engagement for Services is governed by a separate written agreement (e.g., proposal, SOW, MSA, NDA) executed by both parties.
3) Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the Site, attempt to interfere with its normal operation, or access it using a method other than the interface provided.
- Do not upload or transmit malicious code, attempt to probe or test vulnerabilities, or burden the Site infrastructure.
- You may not use the Site to violate any law or the rights of others.
4) Intellectual Property
The Site, including its text, visuals, logos, and code, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Site content without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants any license to our trademarks or other IP.
5) Third-Party Services
The Site may reference or rely on third-party services (e.g., Netlify for hosting/deployment, Google Analytics for analytics, Formspree for form handling). Your use of any third-party service is subject to that provider’s terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services.
6) No Warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
7) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COREBACKEND LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
8) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CoreBackend LLC and its members, managers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
9) Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy, including our use of Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
10) Changes to the Site or Terms
We may update or discontinue the Site, or modify these Terms, at any time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the latest revision. By continuing to use the Site after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
11) Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site shall be in the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California. You and CoreBackend LLC consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
